El Cuchara

It was suggested the other day that Winston Llenas was possibly the greatest player in MLB history to have his last name begin with "Ll." Well, as a man with an obscene amount of free time and a hopeless streak of self-indulgence I decided to check it out.

It was disappointingly easy. Winnie comes in at #2 all-time behind Graeme "Debtor's Prison"Lloyd and just ahead of Clem Llewellyn. That's it.

Unless you want to include the Negro Leagues, in which case everybody moves down a notch to make room for Hall-of-Famer Pop "El Cuchara" Lloyd.
