The Death Wish Kid got it done tonight, spinning seven innings of three-run ball as Boston's six through nine hitters came alive with six hits and 8 RBI.


As an added bonus, the Texas Rangers knocked the snot out of K-Bro the Yankees. Watched the game here at Chez Flavor tonight and developed a new man-crush. Soriano led of the third inning with a double and as Michael Kay babbled incessantly over the replay, his micrphone picked up the stadium PA blaring the theme to "The Godfather." I sat up, turned to AJ and declared, "Whoever is coming up next is my new favortie player." Who is this baseball Cassanova? Ex-Yankee Dave Dellucci, who promptly requited my shameless ardor with a two-run bomb to deep centerfield.

If you listen closely you can actually hear my heart flutter.
