Oh, Thank God
Lisa Gray is back!
And rather than getting all in a twist, like the UrClown, she's rather comfortable in her own skin:
"you are absolutely right that typing isn't my strong suit. and i do like to use a lot of ??? and !!!"
Take a lesson, Matt.
But she's still worried about young Master Gleeman:
"the poker player stripper thing -
if she plays poker, she is a gambler and if i was a guy, i'd watch my wallet.
and since she's a stripper, well, since she strips for LOTS of guys and not just one guy, well if i was a guy, i guess i'd worry about all those other guys and diseases she might could have picked up, etc. fantasy does not necessarily match reality..."
You're right, of course, pitfalls abound. I don't think I could handle dating a woman who gallivants about au natural for a living. I avoid gambling for the same reason I avoid a lot of things, I have poor impulse control, or PIC. And I could tell you a toe-curler about fantasy v reality (I'm twitching just thinking about it). But the fact remains, if you can wake up knowing there is a woman whose job description includes being attractive and she loves baseball and she plays poker, well, Lisa, shit like that will just put a little extra pepper in your step.
Unless he does something fantastically stupid, like try to meet her, he'll be fine. Knowing that Poindexter he'll be too busy playing one-on-one baseball with his uncle or gazing longingly at his Johan Santana rookie card.

Let's hear about the 'toe-curler.'
Will Carroll once said of Aaron Gleeman and his penchant for writing, well, A LOT:
"A factory that makes a lot of crap is still a crap factory" .
Perhaps I'd like Gleeman's writing more if I thought of the Twins as more than just a foil for Adam Kennedy's heroics. But hey, he's apparently one of the more reasonable owners in our diamond mind league.
