Wow. Matt's good.
OK, I was flat out wrong about last night's game. Schilling was hurt, completely ineffective, couldn't get his pitches down, blah, blah, blah... you all saw it. And Mussina? Jeebus.
On the one hand I'd like to discuss what happened, but on the other hand I don't want to bore anyone with my whining.
Instead I'll pose some questions to the audience:
1) Is there an unwritten rule of which I am not aware that states that all Red Sox managers must watch the game on video with a six-minute delay?
2) Would it be possible for Fran-coma to do his napping before the game?
3) How on earth can the Minx and Kapler be expected to field balls when they are on the bench?
4) Why is Mike Meyers on the roster?
5) If you're going to ignore Mike Meyers, if you're just hell bent on the right-left match up, why do you let Timlin, who's already given up two hits in the inning, pitch to Matsui and Williams? Is Foulke no longer going four outs these days?
And my final question...
6) Where the fuck does the UrClown get off prodding me into discussing last night's game when there is no mention at all of Game 3 of the Angels/Sox series on his dopey little outpost?

The Yankees still aren't a particularly fearsome team. Thin front-line pitching, mediocre defense, inflated sense of self-worth, three tons of Bad Karma waiting to happen. I've got faith..

2) boston managers HAFTA wait to pull pitchers until it's too late and they blow it. it's in the Rules.
astro manager pulls pitchers too early and the reliever blows it. wanna switch?
3) uh, mebbe take lessons from chuckie on how to tag guys out from a great distance?
4) because right handed pitchers CANNOT get lefties out. duh. oh. you already have embree? nevermind. um, because he is a Veteran Leader providing Intangible Qualities?
5) to show you have confidence in him. it's a testicle thing (i guess) don't you ever listen to post game shows???!!!
