It's early, to be sure, but I'm afraid that in the fine tradition of the great state of Florida, the scatter-brained constituency may be having problems understanding the ballot. I can't help but think that the people who have staked "Me" to an early lead may have thought they were voting for themselves, in which case we should get their names ready for the next election.
The incumbent has expressed concerns that he has not been afforded an opportunity to mount a proper campaign, but that's ridiculous, the polls will be open for at least another 24 hours. The irony is he may have tanked his own candidacy be proclaiming me an asshat to the community at large*. This may be the most bungled campaign ploy since Bush 43 tried to play the Viet Nam card.
In related news, the UrClown has expressed an interest in drafting the Captain, an idea not without merit in light of his love of watching men's synchronized diving.
