What Is Wrong With These People?
We've discussed my job before. I work for one of the larger banks on Earth, we control assets equal to 11% of US GNP, but the learning curve ain't too steep in these parts.
I spent the week in Boston with the UrClown during the DNC and am looking forward to having the UrClown, the Captain, Team Blah and maybe, just maybe, Crazy Pete join me here in New York for the RNC.
I told my boss at the beginning of the summer that I would be taking this week off. Well as the week approaches the headless chickens have started running about, screaming their fears about not being able to get into the city because of security issues. Please. Get a load of this: they've asked me if I'd be willing to spend four days in a hotel in Lower Manhattan "just in case." Yeah, I'll take that bet.
Oh, nurse, we are gonna do terrible things to that hotel.
